Pokhara is Nepal's second-largest city and a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, one of the most popular trekking routes in the country. The city is known for its tranquil lakes, particularly Phewa Lake, which reflects the snow-capped Annapurna mountains. Pokhara offers a more relaxed atmosphere compared to Kathmandu, with numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops along the lakeside. It's also a hub for adventure activities including paragliding, white-water rafting, and mountain biking.
